Pink and gold Ted Baker nails

| Nails £8 Boots |

I have been wanting some new nails for freshers week as i think it completes an outfit and a look. I have plenty of trouble with nails as i have tiny hands and tiny nails to match. I saw these in boots for only £8 (my normal nails are around £10) and they looked pretty small in size. When I got home to put them on, I was so surprised with how well the fitted me! I have so much trouble and have to file most of the nails down, so it was very refreshing to just glue them on. I absolutely adore the colour of them. I love baby pink on my nails and I think the rose gold tips are lovely and a nice twist on a classic manicure. I cant wait to buy these again and see what else from this range I can buy!

PINK NAILS

Just a quick post for you today. Im going home Thursday so I will have more opportunity to take outfit posts then.
After my holiday I was feeling a little down to decided to cheer myself up by getting my nails done. I love the accent nail with the glitter and bow on. They're so girly and pretty I can't help look at them all the time! I have had so many compliments of them, even from strangers which has been really nice.

LIPSY PROM DRESS

Prom has hit the UK hard and my litter sisters prom was no different. She has had her nails, spray tan, hair and makeup, corsage and a fancy car to take her to the event. With all that aside, I am so proud of her finishing school and working so hard with her GCSE's.

The most important part of her prom for all of us, was her dress. The dress needed to show her personality and make her look like the princess she is. We found this beauty in Lipsy. Its so gorgeous its unreal. The sparkles and the fit make it perfectly age appropriate, its just so pretty. Unfortunately my sister, like all the girls in my family have the short gene, so it was hard to find a full length dress that fitted right. This dress is the perfect length for her and shows of her gorgeous (and freshly spray tanned) legs. I know this dress isnt online anymore, but there are plenty more gorgeous similar dresses on the Lipsy website.
I personally think my sister looked perfect for her special night and Im sure she is going to enjoy every second of it.

Have any of you got a Prom to go to this year?

FEBRUARY HAUL

As I think I've mentioned in almost every post recently, I have been in super uni mode. Thankfully a deadline has been extended so I can relax a tad, but the majority of my easter break will consist of work, work and probably more work (so unfair) This month I have been able to do a little shopping in my breaks, mainly summer clothes because I'm so looking forward to a holiday with my girlies!
| Jeans H&M £15 | Top Topshop £10 | Top Hollister £6.50 Sale | Bikini Topshop £30 |
I am really enjoying wearing these jeans, I think they're so different and super comfy! I think they're going to be a great piece to wear over spring with a white tee. The two crop tops are mainly to wear in summer with shorts but I have worn the grey one with disco pants on a night out which I really like. This Bikini was in a recent wish list and I'm so glad I bought it, the fit is amazing, I love the style and the colours are amazing. This is perfect for my trip to Zante!
| Bag Social Discount £19.99 | Makeup bag TKmax £5 | Bourjois Paris Volume mascara £5.99 Offer | La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat £13 | Body Shop Born Lippy Watermelon Gift | OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It £5 |
This bag I recently bought from Social discount Network, this site defiantly worth a look. I love the colour and style. It seems to go with everything I wear at the moment, and is a nice break from my massive Zara shopper bag.
This makeup bag was bought knowing I'm going home soon and holiday soon so i need a nice compact makeup bag to keep everything secure. I saw this in TKmax reduced and I really like the mock ostrich effect, for £5 you cant really go wrong.
The mascara was on offer in superdrug and I bought it purely because it was cheeper than my normal mascara (soap and glory) however, It has become my new favourite. I really like the application and brush, my eyelashes seem to be nicely separated and fanned out. Im defiantly going to purchase this again.
I have heard a few reviews on the Effaclar Mat and I'm hoping it works on my skin, I want perfect skin for holiday, fingers crossed! and finally this OPI nail varnish is beautiful! I bought it off Pasha's Fashion blog (HERE) blog sales she's got at the moment, its defiantly worth a look.

Phew, that was a long post. Hopefully I'll be posting a few ootd's and reviews on these products soon.
Hope you've all had a lovely week!

VALENTINES DAY NAILS

I've been searching for creative ideas on how to have my nails for Valentines day. I've been looking at heart designs a lot and found this amazing way of creating perfect hearts.
| What you'll need - 2 nail varnishes, plasters and scissors |
Thats it! I found it so easy to do and had great results. I was so happy how it turned out and will defiantly be trying this out with different colours, maybe 2 shades of pink.

SPARKLY NOTD

I have been in some serious need of nail TLC so today I decide to treat myself to some new nail varnish and false nails. Together it was only £12 so I cant complain.
The base colour was from L'Oreal called 102 macaron noisette for £4.99, I love the colour of it as its so simple and classy. The top coat is amazing! It is a Barry M pink sparkle in number 337, It was a steal at £2.99. My false nails are the ones I always buy which are the Broadway nails in Real Short. They were £4.40. The sizes fit perfectly and always stay on for a while.

Has anyone been treating themselves to some TLC recently?

MUA NAIL CONSTELLATION

As i've said in a previous post HERE I love the caviar nails from Ciate. When I saw MUA did a version for only £2.50, I had to snap it up. I also bought the matching nail varnish to go underneath, it was only £1.

I love the colours together and how easy it was to put on. I have kept them on for a few days now and they've managed to stay on very well, however I would suggest a clear coat over the top to keep the balls from falling off.

What do you think? Have you tried this yet?

MODELS OWN - BEACH PARTY

Models Own is a brand that lots of bloggers have been talking about. Personally I wouldn't buy this brand all the time but I decided too when it came to this colour. I wanted to buy a neon colour that that stayed and didn't need a lot of layers.
I picked the colour Beach Party and also got the 3 in 1 clear one too. It works as a good base coat and top coat.
They are individually £5 each.
At Boots at the moment they are doing a Buy 1 get the 2nd half price. So you'd only pay £7.50 instead of £10.
It did need a few layers of the colour, however I love the brightness of it. It hasn't chipped or come off and i've had it on for a few days now.
I love the colour, its so summery and neon colours have been in all this season.

IMPRESS NAILS

As you all know, i'm obsessed with nails. I love fake nails, but I hate the messy part of glue.
After a trip to boots to originaly buy normal nails but came across these.
They are per stuck nails - genius! As soon as I saw these I knew thet were going to be special.

They are so easy to put on, and surprisingly small enought to fit on my tiny nails. All you do is find the size that fits and peel off the sticky pad on the back then press on for a few seconds. And its done! So easy and looks super cute!
The packaging I aslo am amazing idea, it looks like a nail varnih bottle. So clever.

The ones I got were £8.99 which I think is amazing for the quality. The normal colour ones are £7.99.

I have had them on for a few days now and they have really supirised me. The colour has lasted, I have been able to do my normal day to day things, wash my hands and everything without worrying if they'll come off.

I love the pattern I got, so summery and floral - my favourite cobination.

NAILS AND CIATE

I love having my nails painted. I alway have them painted and alway match them with my toes. Even if you never see them!

My favourite high street brand of nail polish is Barry M. They have such a range of colours at such reasonable prices. Even though the quality isn't brilliant and i have to put a few coats on, the variety wins me over.

Nails seem to be everywhere at the moment. Nail art is big with a range of colours, patterns and stickers about.
This set from Ciate is my favourite by far! It is called a Caviar Manicure and it is fabulous. I absolutely love the colour and style of it. Its so easy to apply and gives amazing results. It would easily glam up any outfit.

Even though they are £18 you do get amazing quality of the nail polish and the beads. However if you are just looking for the beads for a bit of DIY here is a little link I found. Open Link. At only £1.25 a bottle these are surely worth a try. I will defiantly be buying these 1st.

NAIL STICKERS

right, i have a big pain when it comes to nails. because I'm a fashion student and was an art student at college, I'm constantly cutting and sticking and basically ruining my nails. its impossible to grow my nails because i always get glue up them or breaking them.

i only wear fake nails or get my nails done when i have finished my work as a treat. - however whilst I'm working, i do still want to have nice looking nails.
but I'm awful at painting them. I'm too impatient and end up smudging them.

until now, i found these beauts in BOOTS. their called NAILEASE.
20 long lasting nail strips - brilliant. (the price was also a bonus of only £3)

i have only just put them on and already i love them. they didn't take long to do, about 20 mins. they are a bit fiddly but i do have freakishly small hands and nails. i only need up using 7 of the strips because i could use them on 2 nails at once.

surprisingly they do stay on! i was apprehensive to start and expecting them to fall off but they've stayed all day. I've washed up, done work, showered and done my day to day jobs.

I'm very impressed. i did get them on offer, but £4.50 also isn't a bad price.

defiantly a must for every girl on the go!
