Happy New Year everyone! 

I cant believe its 2014! This year is such a big year for me I actually cant wait for it! Im turning 21, I'm graduating, I'm leaving Southampton to somewhere new (or wherever I can get a job) and I'm going on holiday to Portugal with the boy in Summer.

I thought seeing as its a new year, I would give my blog a little re-vamp. I like doing this every now and again, mainly because I get bored, but I'm learning so many things computery from blogging, I thought I should put it to good use. I really like how it looks at the moment and can see me keeping it for a while.

Excuse the set up at the moment - student accommodation isn't the nicest place to take blog photos.

This outfit is something i've been wearing loads since I got this jumper for Christmas. I already have this jumper in pink so asked for this colour to go with my collection (anyone else do that?) I absolutely adore this tiffany mint blue colour and think it looks so good with my jeans, which I need to wear more. I have been wearing my new Zara scarf with everything even if it doesn't match, lucky it matches really nicely with this jumper and jeans combo. I also tried it on with this statement necklace from Newlook. The jewels are slightly iridescent which matches the jumper perfectly.  I think it makes this outfit slightly smarter than my massive zara scarf. 

I cant wait to wear this outfit more and hopefully without a coat on when the weather gets a bit warmer!

DEBENHAMS SS13 FASHION SHOW

So I was lucky enough to be invited to the Debenhams SS13 Fashion show in Southampton. All the outfits were styled by the gorgeous Corrie from Dizzybrunette3. She styled 4 key season trends for us - Monochrome and Samba, Rivera, Festival and Holiday and The Wedding. I loved how all the models came down the escalator to start! Here are a few pictures from the event and my favourite pieces.

A FEW WEEKS IN PHOTOS

As my uni year is slowly drawing to an end, I can focus more on blogging and more outfit posts. I haven't really had enough time at the moment to blog about anything in particular so I thought id show you what i've been getting up to in the past few weeks. I had a week of uni which was lovely and it was so nice to get away from my uni bubble and breath! I just need to keep it together until the end of the week and then I'm done until september - bliss!

FOUND IT

Molly King for me is such a fashion icon. I have always loved her style and how how effortless and stylish she looks. Below are a couple of pieces she has worn. I know the handbag is pretty pricey but the playsuit and dungarees are from high street stores which I think is pretty cool. I wish I could strut around in shorts all the time like she does!

Sorry this is a pretty short post but uni work calls and summer is fast approaching, which means I need to crack on with work. Here is a picture from my uni work I have been doing. Its a shoot for Elle magazine inspired by 60's art. Im really pleased with how its all going at the moment and sort of on top of my work. (I say this now but know i'll be super stressed the day before deadlines!)

On a brighter note, I did a photo shoot for my course this week, I think it went really well and so pleased with my images. With the help from my two beautiful assistants Livvy and Jenny it went smoothly, despite the freezing weather!

WHAT A YEAR

This has been a pretty crazy year for me I must say. I have been blogging for just under a year now and lots have changed in my life since then. Being a "blogger" has given me a new form of confidence which I haven't had before. I feel that having an outlet for my fashion has let me experiment so much more with styles and shapes. This has helped me find and nurture my style which I feel has grown to become more like 'me' over the year. 

I love the connections I have made through blogger and twitter with the tips and tricks from like minded girls. 

I have a lot to look forward to in 2013. I am continuing my 2nd year of uni and starting my 3rd and final year! I am going on holiday with all my gorgeous friends and then moving in with some of them in the summer and finally continuing blogging into my 2nd year!
