CHRISTMAS EVE OUTFIT

Its Christmas Eve and now i'm super excited! My little sister and I have been watching Christmassy films all day and waiting for our bigger sister to come home. We decided to do a Christmas eve ootd for you as we both look pretty sparkly and fancy tonight :)

I have been wearing this beautifully sequinned cardigan from Traffic People I bought a few years ago. Its so comfy and warm yet looks so unbelievably Christmassy! I bring this cardigan out every Christmas as I love the colours and shape of it. I wore it with black leggings and top and put my amazing shoes on again (I just cant resist every time I do an outfit post!) - My necklace is a Pandora Charm with a Koala on it.

This is me and my younger sister who kindly took these photos for me. For any of you wondering, she is wearing a Jack Wills dress, Dorothy Perkins cardigan and Newlook shoes.

I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow and enjoy spending time with loved ones!

CHRISTMAS OUTFIT 2

This is my 2nd Christmas post for you. This dress from Lavish Alice is a winner for the holiday season. I absolutely love the colour and fit of it. I teamed this up with my Topshop jacket and new shoes (they are still my absolute favourite shoes). I think this look would be perfect for meals out and Christmas parties.

CHRISTMAS OUTFIT 1

I have 4 christmas outfits to show you before Christmas and i'm really excited to show you them all. Ive had fun styling these outfits and putting them together for the festive period.
This is my 1st outfit. It is for casual evenings, nice meals out or dates. These paisley print leggings are such a statement piece that are so gorgeous yet subtle at the same time. They were from Topshop for £25 - tad pricey but definately worth it for the material and thickness of them. I teamed them up with this gorgeous dress from Boohoo which was £12 (LINK), necklace from Topshop last season and these shoes! Personally i think they're amazing! I bought them off Amazon for £25 (LINK). They're 6 inch heels but are surprisingly easy to walk in and look beautiful!

I am loving being at home and being able to relax and spend time with my family. I have managed to buy all my Christmas presents and wrap them up, I'm so proud of myself!

Are you ready for Christmas yet?

BOOHOO LBD

As the Christmas period is finally coming and all my projects are complete I can finally enjoy the holidays and go out with my friends. I love dressing-up for Christmas and wearing loads of dresses. I bought this dress from Boohoo. The free P&P swayed my decision and I absolutely made the right choice.
This is a lovely LBD that is super flattering on any figure. It could easily be dressed up or made more casual with a leather jacket and UGGS.
I wore this dress with a gold belt and my A-MA-ZING limited edition heels from Miss Selfridges last Christmas.

Here is a link to the dress HERE

I hope you're as much looking forward to Christmas as I am!

EBAY DRESS OOTD

As its coming up to Christmas and the festive season I thought it about time to find myself a lovely dress for going out. I saw a dress a not long ago from Topshop but wen i checked again, it went out of stock. I spent ages looking and trying to find it and luckily the Blogger Vixpo found it on Ebay for £8.99! it was originally for £38 so I got myself a little bargain. The delivery from the seller was super quick, I ordered it o Thursday and it arrived Saturday.

I love the fabric of this dress, it is figure hugging enough yet not so much it looks unflattering. I like the sleeves of the dress, its pretty hard to find a dress that has sleeves this length anymore and i find them more flattering for my shape.

I am so looking forward to wearing this in he next few months and i think I'm going to be getting a lot of use from this.

Have you found a perfect dress for this season?

BIRTHDAY OUTFITS

Its my 20th Birthday a few weeks after Christmas and I'm on the hunt for the perfect outfit. Obviously I would like something that is special but something that wont just sit at the back of my wardrobe never to be worn again. I think you can never go wrong with black and gold just adds a bit of sparkle!
Here is 2 outfits I picked out. Both dresses are from Topshop and the shoes from Schuh and Newlook.

I love this playsuit from Topshop, I love velvet and the chiffon sleeves. The cut out back adds a touch of glamour to the outfit and the shoes are amazing! I'm absolutely in love with them! In the 2nd outfit I love the style and cut of this dress, the sparkles are amazing! The shoes are a winner as they're wedges, you can never go wrong with this style but I like the detail on the heel.

Which outfit do you prefer?

EVENING OUTFIT

Today I thought id show you an outfit I wore last night for my night out with the girls. As its really chilly outside I thought it be best if I covered my arms as they get cold easily. I wore this amazing playsuit from LOVE (£32). I really like the wrap style of it and the material. I teamed it up with my red clutch bag from Dorothy Perkins (gift) and my amazing sparkly shoes from Newlook (£20). I felt super classy and comfy in the outfit and had a lush night out.

Today has been another day of working and sorting things out. I have deadlines soon and want to get as much done as possible so I'm not stressed out at the end and can enjoy Christmas. Today I wore a patterned skirt from USC (£7 sale) and a vest top from H&M. When I went outside I wore my Levi jacket and Primark flats.

Right, off to go do some more work, wish me luck!

LAVISH ALICE OOTD

Im feeling super christmassy at the moment which is surprising for me as I'm not one for getting hyped up by the season. I normally find it stressful and busy and cold. But this year Im loving counting down the week, (7 incase you're wondering). I had my 1st red cup drink from Starbucks and love wrapping up warm.
When my red dress came from Lavish Alice arrived (£15) I felt even more christmassy! I absolutely love the colour and the fit of it. Its so comfy and versatile. I like wearing them with leopard print and my leather jacket.
I was a little concerned it wold show off my curves a little too much but I thought, why not embrace it and love my body instead of wasting time being worried about it.

LEATHER JACKET OOTD

I'm really enjoying winter this year. I normally get really annoyed wrapping up warm and shoving the layers on but this year I'm really enjoying putting winter outfit together. As you all know, I LOVE these leggings and I love wearing them (H&M £9.99) This is my new jacket I got from Topshop (£58) and I'm so glad I bought it. It's warm and the fur collar is unbelievably soft! It will defiantly be featuring in a lot of my OOTDs. I received my order from Lavish Alice today which I really love and will show you all tomorrow.
I have been pretty busy with uni work recently so my blog posts have been a little sporadic. I have my 1st deadline in 25 days!! On a lighter note, the red cups are coming to Starbucks which means, its almost Christmas!

Have a lovely day!

AUTUMN OOTD

As I've said before, I've been digging out old clothes. i have a massive box full of clothes under my bed that i completely forgot about. I was unsure about this dress when i bought it from topshop about 2 years ago but i absolutely love the autumn colours in it. I really like the high(ish) neck of it and I love the lightness of the material.
I'm surprisingly looking forward to the winter months. Im looking forward to coats, fur collars, Uggs and being all toasty inside.

Are you looking forward to winter?

PINK SHORTS OOTD

I think a splash of colour really can make an outfit. These shorts have been shoved at the back of my wardrobe for about a year now and I've only really found a love for them now. They were from the Newlook Limited Edition in the sale for around £5. complete bargain and I'm so glad I bought them now. I have worn them on a night out and they were fabulous and I decided to wear them today. I teamed it up with simple black to make them stand out. I teamed it up with my biker Levi jacket which i think adds a nice contrast between the naughty and nice.
I love the bow around the waist, the colour and the feel. They were so comfy to wear as well.

FLOWER OOTD

Its been getting rather chilly down south recently and its time for me to shove on the Uggs and wrap the snood on. Im not going to lie though, I have missed wearing all the autumn colours and finally being able to put on my comfy boots.
This dress is from Topshop and I normally wear it on night out, but as I seem to love it way too much I wear it in the day as much as I can.

My Uggs probably aren to everyones taste. they have a chunky heel and pattern up the back. They're called UGG Ultra Tall 5245 and i think they were around £250. They have lasted me for around 2 years now and I absolutely love them.

How have you been keeping warm recently?

RAINY OOTD

the weather has been poop recently where I live and its been a harsh change from summer that seems long gone. Today I was at uni and running a few errands. This maxi dress (£20) and Levis jacket (£5 amazing sale purchase) was perfect to keep me warm and fashionable at the same time. I teamed it up with with my sand boots which I got in the sale for £15! This scarf was perfect to add a bit of colour and warmth.

I hope your day hasn't been as wet and miserable as mine.

LANA DEL REY EVENING OOTD

In my previous post, I mentioned I bought some purple leggings from the Lana Del Rey collection at H&M. As I did a Day outfit in my previous post, I thought I would do an Evening outfit for the 2nd pair. I really like this outfit when I go out. The leggings keep me warm(ish) and the heels make it much smarter. I decided to have my hair in a high bun to make it a bit more for evening. Like I've already said, I absolutely love the versitility of these leggings. They are by far the best things I've bought this month!

  1. Top - H&M - £5.99
  2. Leggings - H&M - £10
  3. Shoes - Newlook - £19.99
  4. Clutch - Bank - £10
  5. Hair doughnut - Primark - £2
What do you think? Have you made a good purchase this month?

LANA DEL REY OOTD

H&M have collaborated with Lana Del Ray and I must say, I did love almost all of it. I especially loved these leggings and I couldn't resist buying these blue ones and the purples ones too. They were only £10 and I think they're an absolute bargain. They're a really good material and are so versatile. Today I decided to wear it with this;

  1. Top - Topshop - £7 - sale
  2. Shoes - Primark - £6
  3. Watch - Fossil - £110
  4. Leggings - H&M - £10
  5. Bag - Zara - £40

KICK ASS CONCEALER

Everyone has dreams of having flawless skin. Not everyone is lucky enough to have this so we have to compromise. Thankfully, we have the luxury of makeup. It hides a world of sin and covers up what we want to hide. unfortunately. its hard to find something that is cheap yet has good coverage.
This soap and glory concealer does just that. It has 2 different colour concealers for under eye and blemishes and can be easily blended together. To finish it off, there is a setting powder to keep it on. Its all I need to bring with me on a night out for touch ups.
Overall this is my favourite concealer at the moment by far and id defiantly be buying this again, at only £10, id say it was very reasonably priced.

Have you found your dream concealer yet?

MUA NAIL CONSTELLATION

As i've said in a previous post HERE I love the caviar nails from Ciate. When I saw MUA did a version for only £2.50, I had to snap it up. I also bought the matching nail varnish to go underneath, it was only £1.

I love the colours together and how easy it was to put on. I have kept them on for a few days now and they've managed to stay on very well, however I would suggest a clear coat over the top to keep the balls from falling off.

What do you think? Have you tried this yet?

FRESHER

So it's been 2 weeks since I have made a blog post, and I don't really have a good excuse. Apart from the fact I settled into my new place, went away for a week and then started my 2nd year of uni today.

My little holiday was just what I needed before I started back. I went to the zoo (I fed a giraffe!) scared myself at Thorpe park and did some good shopping.

I started uni, which has been surprisingly exciting. Freshers has been so much fun so far, the late nights have defiantly been worth it. I have managed to see all my friends again after a long summer apart.

Above is me and my best friend Jenny. She is doing the same course as me and also has a blog. You can check her blog out HERE

I will defiantly be putting up more posts when I get into the uni routine again. I have a few OOTD to go up and some wishlists.

have any of you started uni or college again?

A/W BOOT WISHLIST

As winter is almost coming and there was a slight nip in the air I thought it was time to find my new boots for the next season. I have my trusty UGGS which have lasted me the past few years but i always get new ankle boots every year, probably because I wear them to death and the British weather is rubbish!
I really like studs, as you can probably tell from what I've picked. I just think they add a bit of edge and style to any outfit and can easily grunge up a dress.

  1. RIVER ISLAND - £75
  2. RIVER ISLAND - £40
  3. SCHUH - £85
  4. NEWLOOK - £69.99
  5. ZARA - £99.99
  6. SCHUH - £90
I think my favourites have to be number 1 and 5. I like the height and studding detail. They would look perfect with jeans or leggings when it gets chilly.

Have you bought any new boots for Autumn?

£50 BOOHOO CHALLENGE

Putting an outfit together can be pretty hard sometimes, let alone when you have to budget. I do love a good challenge and when I found out Fashion Voucher are doing a competition at the moment to put together an outfit for under £50 I had to do it.

It was harder than I imagined, I was surprised that my outfits I already own are way more than £50. However I was successful and I'm super pleased with the outfit I put together. Its something I would defiantly wear. Especially during this funny weather between summer and autumn.

I managed to get it at exactly £50, I would have liked to add a bag, but obviously money was tight in this challenge. I used all the items that were full price, so no discounts or sale items!

Dress £18 - I love midi dresses, I think its a perfect dress to wear for when it starts to get chilly, easily worn with sandals or ankle boots when it get colder. I love the pattern and colours in this.

Shoes £25 - These are the most expensive item from the outfit, but i love shoes so I was bound to pick something more pricey. I decided to pick heels, just because its what I would wear because I'm short and like a bit of height. Wedges are such a good heel as they are easy to walk in.

Rings £4 - These rings are a statement piece that adds a good focal point to any outfit. These could easily be stacked or used as knuckle rings or separately. The shape gives an edgy feel to the outfit which i quite like.

Eyelashes £3 - Eyes are the window to the soul, so why not accentuate this feature and make them pop! At £3 you cant go wrong and finish off an outfit for a dramatic look for a night out.

Have you managed to put together a bargain outfit recently?

MELABELLE

Melabelle is a feminine clothing range that suits every woman with every size in a girly and simple way. The colours picked are subtle and neutral, which enables every woman to wear every piece at any time of the day. Each chosen fabric had been hand dyed and the patterns have been designed by Bella herself.
This clothing range was designed by a lady called Bella. After finishing her degree she managed to get a job as press officer for menswear designer Ozwald Boateng.
She then worked in public relations working on creative campaigns, which helped her gain experience to lead her to where she is today.
Her new AW 2012 collection is beautiful. My favourite piece has to be the silk tops as their so versatile, gorgeous and chic.

As the Orange top is my favourite I decided to make up a quick outfit. You could easily switch the shoes from heels to flats and a big bag for a day time look.

I love her collection and I cant wait to see what she designs next.

NEW HOUSE

Moving house can be a stressful time, but when things finally fall into place and you move all your belonging into a new place you can really feel a sense of achievement. I decided in my 2nd year to live on my own. This will give me more space to work and have my own space to escape to.
I know its only small, but its my own little pad to keep as my own. I feel really independent now which is scary because i feel so grown up now!

MODELS OWN - BEACH PARTY

Models Own is a brand that lots of bloggers have been talking about. Personally I wouldn't buy this brand all the time but I decided too when it came to this colour. I wanted to buy a neon colour that that stayed and didn't need a lot of layers.
I picked the colour Beach Party and also got the 3 in 1 clear one too. It works as a good base coat and top coat.
They are individually £5 each.
At Boots at the moment they are doing a Buy 1 get the 2nd half price. So you'd only pay £7.50 instead of £10.
It did need a few layers of the colour, however I love the brightness of it. It hasn't chipped or come off and i've had it on for a few days now.
I love the colour, its so summery and neon colours have been in all this season.

Whats your favourite nail varnish colour?
