Pink and gold Ted Baker nails

| Nails £8 Boots |

I have been wanting some new nails for freshers week as i think it completes an outfit and a look. I have plenty of trouble with nails as i have tiny hands and tiny nails to match. I saw these in boots for only £8 (my normal nails are around £10) and they looked pretty small in size. When I got home to put them on, I was so surprised with how well the fitted me! I have so much trouble and have to file most of the nails down, so it was very refreshing to just glue them on. I absolutely adore the colour of them. I love baby pink on my nails and I think the rose gold tips are lovely and a nice twist on a classic manicure. I cant wait to buy these again and see what else from this range I can buy!

What's your favourite colour on your nails?

SPARKLY NOTD

I have been in some serious need of nail TLC so today I decide to treat myself to some new nail varnish and false nails. Together it was only £12 so I cant complain.
The base colour was from L'Oreal called 102 macaron noisette for £4.99, I love the colour of it as its so simple and classy. The top coat is amazing! It is a Barry M pink sparkle in number 337, It was a steal at £2.99. My false nails are the ones I always buy which are the Broadway nails in Real Short. They were £4.40. The sizes fit perfectly and always stay on for a while.

Has anyone been treating themselves to some TLC recently?

RAINY OOTD

the weather has been poop recently where I live and its been a harsh change from summer that seems long gone. Today I was at uni and running a few errands. This maxi dress (£20) and Levis jacket (£5 amazing sale purchase) was perfect to keep me warm and fashionable at the same time. I teamed it up with with my sand boots which I got in the sale for £15! This scarf was perfect to add a bit of colour and warmth.

I hope your day hasn't been as wet and miserable as mine.

A/W BOOT WISHLIST

As winter is almost coming and there was a slight nip in the air I thought it was time to find my new boots for the next season. I have my trusty UGGS which have lasted me the past few years but i always get new ankle boots every year, probably because I wear them to death and the British weather is rubbish!
I really like studs, as you can probably tell from what I've picked. I just think they add a bit of edge and style to any outfit and can easily grunge up a dress.

  1. RIVER ISLAND - £75
  2. RIVER ISLAND - £40
  3. SCHUH - £85
  4. NEWLOOK - £69.99
  5. ZARA - £99.99
  6. SCHUH - £90
I think my favourites have to be number 1 and 5. I like the height and studding detail. They would look perfect with jeans or leggings when it gets chilly.

Have you bought any new boots for Autumn?

IMPRESS NAILS

As you all know, i'm obsessed with nails. I love fake nails, but I hate the messy part of glue.
After a trip to boots to originaly buy normal nails but came across these.
They are per stuck nails - genius! As soon as I saw these I knew thet were going to be special.

They are so easy to put on, and surprisingly small enought to fit on my tiny nails. All you do is find the size that fits and peel off the sticky pad on the back then press on for a few seconds. And its done! So easy and looks super cute!
The packaging I aslo am amazing idea, it looks like a nail varnih bottle. So clever.

The ones I got were £8.99 which I think is amazing for the quality. The normal colour ones are £7.99.

I have had them on for a few days now and they have really supirised me. The colour has lasted, I have been able to do my normal day to day things, wash my hands and everything without worrying if they'll come off.

I love the pattern I got, so summery and floral - my favourite cobination.

MY SKINCARE ROUTINE

Hello lovelies! Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have managed to get a job so that has been taking up the majority of my time.

I thought today I would share with you my skincare routine.

I have had a problem with my skin for as long as I can remember however recently I have found some lovely solutions that have made my life so much better!

I unfortunately have combination to oily skin, which as you all might know, isn't the best skin type to have. I find it hard to find makeup that lasts all day and stops my skin form being shiny.
I went to Boots recently and have a lovely and super helpful chat with a boots lady. She sat me down and tried several anti shine foundations for my skin. Thankfully, the product she picked didn't break the bank.

I bought Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in ivory. At only £5.99 I thought it was worth a try. After a week of using it i think its the best foundation I've ever used. some one the ratings haven't been too good but they are all on the colour, thankfully I had someone try it out on me at Boots.

The lady also gave me a sample of this beauty. Its called Benefit Professional PrimerPersonally this is so good for my skin. You can actually see my pores disappearing. I wear it under my foundation and you can also use it as a touchup over your makeup which is excellent for me. It is £23.50 but I do think it is well worth it if you have noticeable pores. It really does make your face look flawless.

Luckily for you, there is a sample of this primer available in this months glamour magazine, so I ended up buying one for another sample! Its well worth the try.

In Marie Claire magazine this month is a little beauty. A free Ciate nail  polish! obviously I had to buy one and cant wait to try this colour out. Also in the magazine is a jaw dropping discount code for the ciate website! Well worth the buy this month. I absolutely love this nail varnish. The colour is thick, it lasts and the bottle is gorgeous!

Do you have any good skincare routines?

NAIL STICKERS

right, i have a big pain when it comes to nails. because I'm a fashion student and was an art student at college, I'm constantly cutting and sticking and basically ruining my nails. its impossible to grow my nails because i always get glue up them or breaking them.

i only wear fake nails or get my nails done when i have finished my work as a treat. - however whilst I'm working, i do still want to have nice looking nails.
but I'm awful at painting them. I'm too impatient and end up smudging them.

until now, i found these beauts in BOOTS. their called NAILEASE.
20 long lasting nail strips - brilliant. (the price was also a bonus of only £3)

i have only just put them on and already i love them. they didn't take long to do, about 20 mins. they are a bit fiddly but i do have freakishly small hands and nails. i only need up using 7 of the strips because i could use them on 2 nails at once.

surprisingly they do stay on! i was apprehensive to start and expecting them to fall off but they've stayed all day. I've washed up, done work, showered and done my day to day jobs.

I'm very impressed. i did get them on offer, but £4.50 also isn't a bad price.

defiantly a must for every girl on the go!
