Benefit 'They're Real!' Push up liner

Im not a beauty blogger, and beauty products are not something I massively venture into. I normally stick to the regular foundation and mascara and thats about it. However this eyeliner has literally changed my makeup routine forever. Benefit have just released their new eyeliner to go with the UK's number one mascara, 'they're real'. The eyeliner is a gel liner in a pen. the tip is flexible, meaning getting the perfect flick is so easy. I found that I can wear it for a whole 9-5 shift at work with no budge which is something I really look for in an eyeliner. To remove, Id 100% recommend using the they're real makeup remover, it literally removes the liner with one wipe. I am going to have to buy the full size after using up the tester sized one.
I also got a little spoiled and got my eyebrows tinted and waxed by the lovely girls at benefit. A week later my brows still look fab and the best they've ever looked. Thank you to the benefit girls in Hereford Debenhams for the brows and lovely evening!

Have you tried using this eyeliner yet?

My 21st Birthday

Last week I turned 21. I feel so old now but it was so lovely to celebrate my birthday with my family and friend. As I am back at uni, my parents came down to see me so we went for a lovely meal and I ate the best food ever - the chocolate brownie was to die for! After being sufficiently filled up on good food, I went to Clinique to get my face properly done for my night out with my friends. They did such a lovely job and made me feel so special. For my night out I wore my amazing Estrella Bella Boutique that was made for me (you can read my detailed blog post about it here). I loved wearing it and got so many compliments on it. I got spoiled rotten for my birthday and received some lovely presents. A few being my holiday, which I'm so grateful about, some money, to go towards my new gold iPhone 5s, my gorgeous dress and a few vouchers where I picked up an amazing topshop jumpsuit that I cant wait to wear.
For me now, Its back to doing my uni work, finishing off my dissertation and starting my last project for uni, Its crazy thinking that in 15 weeks I am done with university forever!

Thank you to everyone for making my 21st so special

FEBRUARY HAUL

As I think I've mentioned in almost every post recently, I have been in super uni mode. Thankfully a deadline has been extended so I can relax a tad, but the majority of my easter break will consist of work, work and probably more work (so unfair) This month I have been able to do a little shopping in my breaks, mainly summer clothes because I'm so looking forward to a holiday with my girlies!
| Jeans H&M £15 | Top Topshop £10 | Top Hollister £6.50 Sale | Bikini Topshop £30 |
I am really enjoying wearing these jeans, I think they're so different and super comfy! I think they're going to be a great piece to wear over spring with a white tee. The two crop tops are mainly to wear in summer with shorts but I have worn the grey one with disco pants on a night out which I really like. This Bikini was in a recent wish list and I'm so glad I bought it, the fit is amazing, I love the style and the colours are amazing. This is perfect for my trip to Zante!
| Bag Social Discount £19.99 | Makeup bag TKmax £5 | Bourjois Paris Volume mascara £5.99 Offer | La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat £13 | Body Shop Born Lippy Watermelon Gift | OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It £5 |
This bag I recently bought from Social discount Network, this site defiantly worth a look. I love the colour and style. It seems to go with everything I wear at the moment, and is a nice break from my massive Zara shopper bag.
This makeup bag was bought knowing I'm going home soon and holiday soon so i need a nice compact makeup bag to keep everything secure. I saw this in TKmax reduced and I really like the mock ostrich effect, for £5 you cant really go wrong.
The mascara was on offer in superdrug and I bought it purely because it was cheeper than my normal mascara (soap and glory) however, It has become my new favourite. I really like the application and brush, my eyelashes seem to be nicely separated and fanned out. Im defiantly going to purchase this again.
I have heard a few reviews on the Effaclar Mat and I'm hoping it works on my skin, I want perfect skin for holiday, fingers crossed! and finally this OPI nail varnish is beautiful! I bought it off Pasha's Fashion blog (HERE) blog sales she's got at the moment, its defiantly worth a look.

Phew, that was a long post. Hopefully I'll be posting a few ootd's and reviews on these products soon.
Hope you've all had a lovely week!

KICK ASS CONCEALER

Everyone has dreams of having flawless skin. Not everyone is lucky enough to have this so we have to compromise. Thankfully, we have the luxury of makeup. It hides a world of sin and covers up what we want to hide. unfortunately. its hard to find something that is cheap yet has good coverage.
This soap and glory concealer does just that. It has 2 different colour concealers for under eye and blemishes and can be easily blended together. To finish it off, there is a setting powder to keep it on. Its all I need to bring with me on a night out for touch ups.
Overall this is my favourite concealer at the moment by far and id defiantly be buying this again, at only £10, id say it was very reasonably priced.

Have you found your dream concealer yet?

lots of love

MY SKINCARE ROUTINE

Hello lovelies! Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have managed to get a job so that has been taking up the majority of my time.

I thought today I would share with you my skincare routine.

I have had a problem with my skin for as long as I can remember however recently I have found some lovely solutions that have made my life so much better!

I unfortunately have combination to oily skin, which as you all might know, isn't the best skin type to have. I find it hard to find makeup that lasts all day and stops my skin form being shiny.
I went to Boots recently and have a lovely and super helpful chat with a boots lady. She sat me down and tried several anti shine foundations for my skin. Thankfully, the product she picked didn't break the bank.

I bought Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in ivory. At only £5.99 I thought it was worth a try. After a week of using it i think its the best foundation I've ever used. some one the ratings haven't been too good but they are all on the colour, thankfully I had someone try it out on me at Boots.

The lady also gave me a sample of this beauty. Its called Benefit Professional PrimerPersonally this is so good for my skin. You can actually see my pores disappearing. I wear it under my foundation and you can also use it as a touchup over your makeup which is excellent for me. It is £23.50 but I do think it is well worth it if you have noticeable pores. It really does make your face look flawless.

Luckily for you, there is a sample of this primer available in this months glamour magazine, so I ended up buying one for another sample! Its well worth the try.

In Marie Claire magazine this month is a little beauty. A free Ciate nail  polish! obviously I had to buy one and cant wait to try this colour out. Also in the magazine is a jaw dropping discount code for the ciate website! Well worth the buy this month. I absolutely love this nail varnish. The colour is thick, it lasts and the bottle is gorgeous!

Do you have any good skincare routines?

 lots of love
