Asos Leather Dress

| Dress Asos | Shoes Newlook | Necklace Topshop |

I took these images last week and i am dying for the weather to be like this again. Im hoping this weekend the sun will come out so I can go out and enjoy time off work. This week has been super crazy for me, I finished my three years of uni, moved back home and started my new job.
I absolutely love this dress so much. I have always been scared by the leather trend but my friend Emma bought this and after I saw the leather material and how it looked on, I knew I had to buy it for myself. I really love the asymmetric style of the dress at the front and the flattering little cut outs at the back. I love how it looks teamed with the pop of colour of the necklace and shoes. I seemed to be able to wear this necklace with everything and it matches and completes the look. I think this outfit is perfect for my holiday possibly with sandals or lower heel.

What have you been up to this week?

Sandals for Spring

| Jumpsuit Newlook | Clutch Accessorize | Shoes La Redoute* | Sunglasses Primark |

The weather has been so lovely recently and I am planning on enjoying myself in the sunshine for my last week at uni. With the weather being warm I decided it was time to bring out my jumpsuit that I have been dying to wear for a while now. I bought it from the petite section of newlook but I think they have quickly sold out, It fits my 5"3 frame perfectly. I was kindly sent these heels from La Redoute and I really love how they make my outfit so much more summery and classy. The heel is the perfect height for the day and can easily be worn during the day through to the night. I can wear these shoes with so many of my outfits I am actually shocked, i've never really had a day heel before but I am warming to the idea of it! I teamed this outfit with my beautiful clutch from Accessorize, its just the right size to fit everything I need in it. I cant wait to wear this outfit on my holiday which is fast approaching, only 61 days and I have nothing besides this outfit sorted and planned!

How have you been enjoying the sunshine recently?

Spring Wishlist

There has been so much thats caught my eye at the moment, it always happens when I have no money and cant afford to buy any of it. However, with uni finishing and a job starting soon after, some of these items will hopefully end up in my wardrobe.
This jacket from Celeb Boutique is stunning, I saw this on Chloe from The Only Way is Essex and have completely fallen in love with it, its such a gorgeous colour for those cooler spring days or for a night out. Recently I have been on a hunt for the perfect jumpsuit or playsuit, and i've found both. This jumpsuit from the Newlook petite section, its just like a topshop one I've had my eye on but for half the price. The playsuit which is from Topshop is so structured and classy, they also sell it in white which I'm super keen to invest in for my holiday. The handbag from Ted Baker is to die for! I need this bag for my new spring wardrobe but for £169, it might never be a possibility *sigh*.  These heels are more in my price range at £30 from Newlook, I think they would look perfect with the jumpsuit and a statement necklace. I need to make use of my student discount before I finish uni!

Orange and Blue

 | Jeans Dorothy Perkins Petite | Top Topshop | Necklace Topshop | Heels Newlook |

It seems like it has been forever since I've blogged (I cant believe its almost been a month!) and I've completely fallen off the blog radar. I had no idea uni work could take over my life so much but unfortunately it has. With my deadline looming and a new job starting soon after, I've literally had no time to think of anything else. Let alone get time to go out and blog. However, I gave myself a much needed break earlier today and enjoy the lush weather we've been having recently - bring on summer!
Ive been wearing jeans a lot more recently which is very different compared to my trusty leggings I wear every day. I find it super difficult to find jeans that fit as I'm pretty short, these Dorothy Perkins Petite jeans have been my staple denim for years now and I re-buy them every so many years. I teamed them up with this gorgeous top from Topshop, I absolutely love the colour and the flattering length sleeves. I think its perfect for those spring days. I also wore my amazing Topshop necklace which I picked up not long ago. I really love how it completely finishes off the look of the top and makes it look so summery. Too add height to my little body I wore these beautiful heels from Newlook. I love the chunky heels that make wearing heels a little more bearable. I love the colour combination of orange and blue, I think theres something really modern and fresh about it. I cant wait to wear this outfit more, possibly more with sandals for boots on those cooler days.

What colour combination do you love at the moment?

Topshop and Newlook wishlists

OUTFIT 1 | Playsuit | Jacket | Necklace | Heels | OUTFIT 2 | Necklace | Heels | Nail Polish | Jacket | Dress |

I have been loving so many of the new season collections at the moment, particularly from Newlook and Topshop. These have been my favourite stores and there has been so much I want to buy and save up for. This year I have a few events and parties coming up so I am going to be needing some new outfits to wear.
This first outfit is a bit monochrome which isn't something I normally go for, however teamed up with this chic blue blazer and heels, makes it look more colourful. I have just bought this playsuits and really want some items to wear with it. The necklace I teamed with it is perfect for summer and I love matching orange and blue together.
The second outfit is so pretty. I absolutely adore this pink satin dress, I think it would be perfect for spring and summer maybe for a wedding or party. I teamed it up with a black blazer to make it more suitable for evenings and the weather now. A staple pair of nude heels is something ever girl needs in her wardrobe, and these are no exception. Perfect for the warmer weather and to make your legs longer! The necklace is so pretty and I'm so impressed recently with Newlook's collection of affordable statement necklaces.

Feeling fresh, Feeling new

Jumper Newlook | Scarf Zara | Boots Uggs | Jeans Dorothy Perkins | Necklace Newlook

Happy New Year everyone!

I cant believe its 2014! This year is such a big year for me I actually cant wait for it! Im turning 21, I'm graduating, I'm leaving Southampton to somewhere new (or wherever I can get a job) and I'm going on holiday to Portugal with the boy in Summer.
I thought seeing as its a new year, I would give my blog a little re-vamp. I like doing this every now and again, mainly because I get bored, but I'm learning so many things computery from blogging, I thought I should put it to good use. I really like how it looks at the moment and can see me keeping it for a while.
Excuse the set up at the moment - student accommodation isn't the nicest place to take blog photos.
This outfit is something i've been wearing loads since I got this jumper for Christmas. I already have this jumper in pink so asked for this colour to go with my collection (anyone else do that?) I absolutely adore this tiffany mint blue colour and think it looks so good with my jeans, which I need to wear more. I have been wearing my new Zara scarf with everything even if it doesn't match, lucky it matches really nicely with this jumper and jeans combo. I also tried it on with this statement necklace from Newlook. The jewels are slightly iridescent which matches the jumper perfectly.  I think it makes this outfit slightly smarter than my massive zara scarf.
I cant wait to wear this outfit more and hopefully without a coat on when the weather gets a bit warmer!

Did you get anything for Christmas that you cant stop wearing?

What I got for Christmas 2013

Happy New Year! Sorry I have been away from the whole blogging world recently. With Uni work and my job, I really haven't had time to blog about anything. Ive also not had anything interesting to blog about!
Start January, I will have more to blog about and will get back into the swing of things. Plus I have a lot of exciting things happening so plenty of OOTD posts will be up! I thought a good first post back of 2014 should be a "what I got for Christmas" post. Obviously this is not me trying to 'show off' or brag at all about what I have received this year. I am so super grateful and lucky to have been spoiled rotten this year! Plus I love reading these posts.
Firstly I got my trusty Lea Stafford hair growth products, I swear by these and they have really helped with my hair growing out. I also got some Gilly Hicks pj shorts which I have lived in since I got them, I love the tartan pink combo and the cute little bow! Getting Converse was such a surprise for me as I have always wanted them yet been too scared to buy the pink ones, I cant wait to wear these for sumer with little dresses and shorts.
I already have this Newlook jumper in pink as was so happy to receive it in this gorgeous baby blue colour, It matches perfectly with my new zara scarf! I love it so so much, even though my dad thought it was a blanket to start! Its so warm and cosy to wear. Another zara present was my mini office bag in burgundy. I have not stopped using this since Christmas, its just the perfect size for me.
Also from newlook I got this beautiful statement necklace which also matches the jumper really well, I cant wait to wear this on nights out or just to sparkle up an outfit. I was so happy and grateful to receive these next 2 gifts. I told my mum I really wanted the Lancome star mascara and she got it for me in a gift set with eyeliner and Bi-Facil makeup remover. I really love it so far and it makes my eyelashes look amazing! I also got the Enrapture jumbo waver which I really like using to make my pony tail more voluminous.
These last 2 presents were from my boyfriend. As my birthday is in a few weeks (I can't believe i'm going to be 21!) He decided to join the 2 together. I firstly got this gorgeous Swarovski necklace which I've had my eye on all year. My main present from him was this 2014 diary with unicorns on, he told me to flick through to June - A holiday to Portugal was written in! I am so lucky I cant wait to be relaxing on the beach in a few months time!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a safe New Year!
I can't wait for what 2014 has in store.

What did you all get for Christmas?

First Of My Freshers Outfits

| Top Newlook £9.99 | Trousers TKMaxx £15 | Heels Miss Selfridge £15 | Clutch £10 Bank Fashion |

For many new students or returning students, Freshers is starting this week. Freshers is all about having a good time and making new friends or enjoying time with all your friends. As I have moved into my house with 3 of my best friends, we are all going to enjoy our last year together, have a good time going out and enjoying freshers.
I feel that my 'night out' wardrobe has been a bit boring and plain recently and I wanted to inject a bit if colour to it. I have also found that as the weather has been getting a bit cooler, i've wanted to dress slightly warmer than normal yet still look fashionable.
I have seen loads of these trousers in Zara and Topshop and haven't been too sure about them (or the price). However I found these in TKMaxx for only £15 and thought I why not. I really like the print and style of them.
I really wanted a cami from Topshop too, only none of the sizes fitted me, either too small or too bit. I spotted this in Newlook and it fitted a lot better. I really like the way this looks for a classy night out look. I think it will be a simple easy outfit to wear that will still keep me slightly warmer, a bit more covered up than normal and still look fashionable.

What do you think? Have you bought any new outfits recently?

BOOHOO SUMMER DRESS

| Dress Boohoo £15 | Necklace Dorothy Perkins £5 sale | Sandals Newlook £7.99 |

This dress has been so trusty and reliable all year. I bought this from boohoo last year around Christmas time and loved wearing it with tights and boots. However, this summer, I seem to have been living in this dress to the point where i've washed it and worn it the day after! I love the simplicity of this dress and how the necklace finishes off the outfit perfectly. These sandals have been comfy all summer for me and they go with everything so it was a no-brainer to wear these with my outfit. I wore this to a BBQ one night and it was the perfect casual and comfy dress to wear.
I really want a dress in this smock style for winter but longer sleeved. I think It would be perfect with my Uggs and Zara bag.

Have you found your perfect comfy dress?
