Feeling fresh, Feeling new

Jumper Newlook | Scarf Zara | Boots Uggs | Jeans Dorothy Perkins | Necklace Newlook

Happy New Year everyone!

I cant believe its 2014! This year is such a big year for me I actually cant wait for it! Im turning 21, I'm graduating, I'm leaving Southampton to somewhere new (or wherever I can get a job) and I'm going on holiday to Portugal with the boy in Summer.
I thought seeing as its a new year, I would give my blog a little re-vamp. I like doing this every now and again, mainly because I get bored, but I'm learning so many things computery from blogging, I thought I should put it to good use. I really like how it looks at the moment and can see me keeping it for a while.
Excuse the set up at the moment - student accommodation isn't the nicest place to take blog photos.
This outfit is something i've been wearing loads since I got this jumper for Christmas. I already have this jumper in pink so asked for this colour to go with my collection (anyone else do that?) I absolutely adore this tiffany mint blue colour and think it looks so good with my jeans, which I need to wear more. I have been wearing my new Zara scarf with everything even if it doesn't match, lucky it matches really nicely with this jumper and jeans combo. I also tried it on with this statement necklace from Newlook. The jewels are slightly iridescent which matches the jumper perfectly.  I think it makes this outfit slightly smarter than my massive zara scarf.
I cant wait to wear this outfit more and hopefully without a coat on when the weather gets a bit warmer!

Did you get anything for Christmas that you cant stop wearing?

Estrella Bella Boutique #5

| Estrella Bella Boutique dress £135 | Photographer Emma Connolly |

This is the final of the dresses I'm reviewing for Estrella Boutique (you can read the first post here)

This skater dress with embellished padded shoulders and low back is my absolute favourite of the 5 dresses I've reviewed.
I love the simplicity of the fit and style and love the quirky jewelled low v neck on the front and back. The shoulder pads are amazing and I actually really loved it when I put it on. I think its just enough glitter on this dress to make me feel like a princess. I love it so much I have actually ordered it for my 21st Birthday! I'm so excited to wear it and cant wait feeling so pretty on my special day.

As I said before, this is the last post for Estrella Bella Boutique for a while anyway. I did these posts for my Uni Work Experience and I enjoyed working for Jo so much. It was such an invaluable experience and I cant wait to work for her again in the future.
Beautiful dresses made by a beautiful lady!

Estrella Bella Boutique #4

This is the fourth of the dresses I'm reviewing for Estrella Boutique (you can read the first post here)

This turquoise jewelled backless dress is called the Elena dress.
I really love this dress as it is so different from the other 5 dresses I've reviewed. I actually love the tight fitting of it combined with the low back. I adore the jewels on it, especially on the back. The colours combined make this dress so fun and unique. The top part is boned so its fully structred which makes this dress feel so expensive and amazing. I would love to wear this to a night out or party.
I would love to see what this dress looks like black with all the coloured jewels on it.

Estrella Bella Boutique #3

This is the third of the dresses I'm reviewing for Estrella Boutique (you can read the first post here)

This coral red skater dress with a satin embellished top half and lace puffy skirt is called the Cora dress.
Firstly, the colour of this dress is stunning! its so bright and such a lovely colour. I think its a really lovely statement dress and super flattering. I love the style and fit of it. I think this skirt is my favourite out of all 5 dresses I'm reviewing for Estrella Bella Boutique. I love the lace pattern on it as it is different from any other dress/skirt I own. I adore the jewelled embellishment on the top of the dress, its so on trend for the whole statement necklace look. The back is so classy and the ribbon tied at the back is so cute! The dress would look so nice for a summer prom or wedding!

Tooti's Gelato Bar

| White chocolate and raspberry waffle £5 |

For a University project, I needed to shoot on location. As it was a 50's theme, I decided to use  Tooti's Gelato Bar in Southampton.
Tooties offers a unique modern-day gelateria dining experience. They serve freshly made pancakes and waffles, topped with the most amazing range of ice-cream and toppings. I have been several times now with friends and I must say, I have loved every choice I picked. The portions are massive and amazing value for money.
The interior has been designed so well, it looks so cool with the big sofas and booths. The booths even have games consoles at the end to play whilst waiting for food.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating and I cannot wait to go back as a treat for when my deadline are finished.

| Honeycomb smash £5 |

Make sure to check out Tooties here or go visit them and have a waffle!

Estrella Bella Boutique #2

| Estrella Bella Boutique dress £140 | Photographer Emma Connolly |

This is the second of the dresses I'm reviewing for Estrella Boutique (you can read the first post here)

This stunning jewelled open back skater dress is called Elsie.
I really love this dress, its completely different from the first dress I reviewed, I think this one is much more girly. Its so pretty and the back kinda makes me feel like a fairy! The beaded detail on the front is so on trend for Autumn/Winter 13 and its so amazingly done. I think the fit and style is absolutely gorgeous and skirt is so pretty. I really love skater skirts and this one is no exception! The colour is a beautiful royal blue colour which is flattering for so many skin types. However, As Jo (the owner of Estrella Bella Boutique) makes the dresses,  it can be made in any colour you wanted - I would love to see what this dress looks like in a baby pink!

Estrella Bella Boutique #1

| Dress Estrella Bella Boutique £140 | Photographer Emma Connolly |

I've been given the amazing opportunity to review 5 dresses for the lead up to Christmas.
These Dresses have been handmade and custom made by the lovely Jo at Estrella Bella Boutique.

This beautiful lace appliqué skater dress is called Victoria Ivy.
I actually gasped a little bit when I first looked at this dress. The detail is absolutely stunning and the quality is amazing. The flattering way the lace detail is positioned on the top is so lovely and is such a statement. Im surprised I actually really like the high neck of it as its not normally my style. To feel like a princess you need a skater skirt. The skirt attached is so voluminous and just so pretty, I love how much it sticks out. I feel so classy in this dress and wish I could have worn it out somewhere, you could easily wear it to a Prom or Christmas party.

Leather and Studs

| Dress Miss Luxe £12.99* | Shoes Newlook £25 |

Being in my final year of uni means a lot of work and not much social life. However it has been really nice making time for leaving the house and having fun with my friends. I wore this dress on a night out a few days ago and I really love it. I love a classic LBD but this dress has a few added extras. I've been too scared of embracing the leather trend this season however this dress has really cute leather shoulders with studs on it which add a nice edge to the dress. I also love the cut out at the back, its really flattering. I love the simplicity of it. it will definitely be worn more over the next few months.

Make sure you check out Miss Luxe on their Site, Twitter and Facebook
Have you got a perfect LBD yet?

Pink A/W Wishlist

Im sorry for the lack of posts, My uni wok has increased massively and I haven't had much time to blog at all. This is just a quick posts to show you what I'm loving at the moment. I really love pink and have been seeing a lot of it around which I haven't before.
I really love this pink jumper, I really like the shape and fit of it and the colour is such a gorgeous candy floss colour. This handbag is amazing. It looks like a copy of the mulberry willow back which I saw on their recent catwalk. I found this beauty on ebay for only £16.99 which is a steal compared to the Mulberry price. Might have to invest in this for winter. I think its such a good way of injecting a bit of colour into your winter wardrobe.

What have you been loving recently?
