January 14

This month has been pretty hectic for me. After working most of the christmas holidays and not getting a lot of time at home, uni started again pretty quickly. I turned 21 at the start of the month which was such a lovely day. I went away for a bit to get away from uni, I felt like I was stuck there for so long! I did some well deserved retail therapy with my birthday money and relaxed. I also got a new phone which I have been loving using. My Instagram photo quality has drastically improved! The later part of January has been filled with finishing my dissertation which has been so tedious and long. Writing isn't my strong point so I struggled a lot with it. thankfully its done and completed which is such a relief. Now its onto my last project for the year then uni is done! 3 more months then I'm off into the big world. Obviously after my holiday to Portugal which is only 115 days away, not that I'm counting down or anything. Its my big motivation for finishing everything.

I recently upgraded my trusty iPhone 3gs to a brand new phone. I am so happy to now have a phone that actually works and has storage space and can download apps on it. I can actually use my phone properly and get my moneys worth on it. I chose the iPhone 5s, mainly because its gold, but also because I am an apple girl and have been for a while. Plus its such a jump from my old phone. I obviously wanted a case for it as its got to last me 2 years, but wanted something clear to see the gold on the back. I decided originally to get a clear case but stumbled across this site not long ago. White Diamonds offer sophisticated phone cases with Swarovski elements on it. Im not going to lie, I was completely sold by the idea. When It arrived I couldn't be more happier with how it looks. The 3 'trinity' jewels fit perfectly on the back and just compliments my phone perfectly. The front and sides are clear and minimal so it doesn't look like I have a bulky case on, or one at all. I love my new phone and the case, I can't wait to buy more cases from White Diamond.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, i'm not sure if its lack of motivation of just because i'm at home and enjoying some time off from everything and relaxing. 

I've been home for a few weeks now and i've really enjoyed my time. Obviously the sun has helped massively with my mood and what i've been doing. Plenty of ice cream eating and sunbathing has been happening. 

Next week is equally going to be as fun for me, I've been very lucky to be selected to go to the Celeb Boutique store opening at Westfields, so a lovely shopping day for me! I have also just found out i've passed my 2nd year of uni which is such a relief for me as i have tried and worked so hard this year so its obviously been paying off.

Today has been another gorgeous day. My sister and I thought best to enjoy the little time I have left here before I go back to Southampton by going out. We decided to out in the sunshine and enjoy the village where we live. I am very fortunate to live in a lovely rural village with fields, farms and flowers everywhere. Its nice to come here and relax from the busy city where I stay at uni. 

Today I wore my maxi dress from Miss Selfridge. I know its a lot of money but it was defiantly worth every penny. I love the print and style and fit. Its perfect for summer. I can't wait to wear it more!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for following me, I have 150 followers and its a big achievement for me. 

On a little side note, i'm not too sure when i'll be blogging again. Im going on holiday with the girls to Zante then off to see my boyfriend. Ill try and do a few post about Zante and hopefully some OOTD posts. 

A FEW WEEKS IN PHOTOS

As my uni year is slowly drawing to an end, I can focus more on blogging and more outfit posts. I haven't really had enough time at the moment to blog about anything in particular so I thought id show you what i've been getting up to in the past few weeks. I had a week of uni which was lovely and it was so nice to get away from my uni bubble and breath! I just need to keep it together until the end of the week and then I'm done until september - bliss!

WHAT IVE BEEN UP TO

I've been home for a few days and its nice to get a break from looking after myself, I do love my mum looking after me again! Ive been mainly resting and chilling out at home and getting on with some of my work. On Wednesday I'm off to see my chums Livvy and Jen for a photo shoot (click their names for their blogs) which will be good then back to reality of working. The joys of university hey?

On a brighter note, I did a photo shoot for my course this week, I think it went really well and so pleased with my images. With the help from my two beautiful assistants Livvy and Jenny it went smoothly, despite the freezing weather!

I have deadlines before easter and after so I'm going to have to get my head down probably for the next month too. These past few weeks I have been knuckling down on my uni work. I am aiming to give myself plenty of time finish my sketch book and complete my photo shoot so I have loads of time to retouch them. I am also doing a very exciting photo shoot for my blog on friday which will be up next week after I finish retouching them. I promise I will start back with a better routine for my blog but obviously uni makes it hard to have free time.
