A/W BOOT WISHLIST

As winter is almost coming and there was a slight nip in the air I thought it was time to find my new boots for the next season. I have my trusty UGGS which have lasted me the past few years but i always get new ankle boots every year, probably because I wear them to death and the British weather is rubbish!
I really like studs, as you can probably tell from what I've picked. I just think they add a bit of edge and style to any outfit and can easily grunge up a dress.

  1. RIVER ISLAND - £75
  2. RIVER ISLAND - £40
  3. SCHUH - £85
  4. NEWLOOK - £69.99
  5. ZARA - £99.99
  6. SCHUH - £90
I think my favourites have to be number 1 and 5. I like the height and studding detail. They would look perfect with jeans or leggings when it gets chilly.

Have you bought any new boots for Autumn?

£50 BOOHOO CHALLENGE

Putting an outfit together can be pretty hard sometimes, let alone when you have to budget. I do love a good challenge and when I found out Fashion Voucher are doing a competition at the moment to put together an outfit for under £50 I had to do it.

It was harder than I imagined, I was surprised that my outfits I already own are way more than £50. However I was successful and I'm super pleased with the outfit I put together. Its something I would defiantly wear. Especially during this funny weather between summer and autumn.

I managed to get it at exactly £50, I would have liked to add a bag, but obviously money was tight in this challenge. I used all the items that were full price, so no discounts or sale items!

Dress £18 - I love midi dresses, I think its a perfect dress to wear for when it starts to get chilly, easily worn with sandals or ankle boots when it get colder. I love the pattern and colours in this.

Shoes £25 - These are the most expensive item from the outfit, but i love shoes so I was bound to pick something more pricey. I decided to pick heels, just because its what I would wear because I'm short and like a bit of height. Wedges are such a good heel as they are easy to walk in.

Rings £4 - These rings are a statement piece that adds a good focal point to any outfit. These could easily be stacked or used as knuckle rings or separately. The shape gives an edgy feel to the outfit which i quite like.

Eyelashes £3 - Eyes are the window to the soul, so why not accentuate this feature and make them pop! At £3 you cant go wrong and finish off an outfit for a dramatic look for a night out.

Have you managed to put together a bargain outfit recently?

MELABELLE

Melabelle is a feminine clothing range that suits every woman with every size in a girly and simple way. The colours picked are subtle and neutral, which enables every woman to wear every piece at any time of the day. Each chosen fabric had been hand dyed and the patterns have been designed by Bella herself.
This clothing range was designed by a lady called Bella. After finishing her degree she managed to get a job as press officer for menswear designer Ozwald Boateng.
She then worked in public relations working on creative campaigns, which helped her gain experience to lead her to where she is today.
Her new AW 2012 collection is beautiful. My favourite piece has to be the silk tops as their so versatile, gorgeous and chic.

As the Orange top is my favourite I decided to make up a quick outfit. You could easily switch the shoes from heels to flats and a big bag for a day time look.

I love her collection and I cant wait to see what she designs next.

NEW HOUSE

Moving house can be a stressful time, but when things finally fall into place and you move all your belonging into a new place you can really feel a sense of achievement. I decided in my 2nd year to live on my own. This will give me more space to work and have my own space to escape to.
I know its only small, but its my own little pad to keep as my own. I feel really independent now which is scary because i feel so grown up now!

What do you think? Have any of you moved house recently?

MODELS OWN - BEACH PARTY

Models Own is a brand that lots of bloggers have been talking about. Personally I wouldn't buy this brand all the time but I decided too when it came to this colour. I wanted to buy a neon colour that that stayed and didn't need a lot of layers.
I picked the colour Beach Party and also got the 3 in 1 clear one too. It works as a good base coat and top coat.
They are individually £5 each.
At Boots at the moment they are doing a Buy 1 get the 2nd half price. So you'd only pay £7.50 instead of £10.
It did need a few layers of the colour, however I love the brightness of it. It hasn't chipped or come off and i've had it on for a few days now.
I love the colour, its so summery and neon colours have been in all this season.

Whats your favourite nail varnish colour?
